It is with great pleasure that I welcome Alan Fraser as Workshare's new President and CEO. Alan joins us with nearly 30 years of experience in executive roles in both public and private high-technology companies. His background includes functional expertise in general management, product development, marketing, distribution, sales, operations, and finance and he demonstrated proven leadership capabilities to rapidly scale organizations for success. Moving forward, I will serve as EVP, Group Executive of Operations to ensure that the quality of our products and services continually improve to meet our customers' strategic needs. Working with Alan and the rest of our executive management team, we are committed to manage our growth, refine our operations and continue to develop high quality best of breed solutions for legal professionals and corporate enterprises.
On the product front, we are announcing the availability of Workshare Professional™ 5.2 SR1 this month. We have incorporated input from over 400 customers into this product release that features significant performance, reliability and quality enhancements. It is a proof point to you that, as outlined in my June communication, our focus on quality and process improvements has been successful. If you haven't considered migrating to Workshare Professional lately, now is the time! Contact us for a preview of 5.2 SR1 even if you're only interested in the next generation of DeltaView™, the world's most accurate document comparison engine. We have flexible migration options and we'd love to show it to you.
You will see Workshare in the news again this week as we are also announcing WorkshareOpen™; an open platform to allow independent software vendors (ISVs), system integrators, value-added resellers (VARs) and enterprise IT departments to easily integrate our industry-leading comparison engine with other business solutions. In this announcement we highlight five new business partnerships for the platform to expand our enterprise footprint. We are increasing our partner channel and enablement programs to ensure you receive the maximum support from the growing Workshare community.
Thank you to all of our customers who we met with at the ILTA conference in Grapevine, TX a few weeks ago. Overall, we were extremely pleased with the level of customer feedback we received and support of our corporate vision and technology roadmap, including the steps we are taking to continue our commitment to the legal community.
As we close on the second quarter of our fiscal year, these steps along with others we have taken continue to strengthen Workshare's market position. We will continue on the path of refining our business process and discipline to better serve you, and we appreciate all of your feedback to aide those improvements.
