Top Tip! - How to change Default Save Location when saving comparisons in Workshare

Tip by Andrew Beard, Customer Support Representative.

Environment 

Workshare Professional (all versions), Windows XP & Vista (all versions), MS Office (all versions)

Solution 

  1. Open Workshare, if see the Document Selection window, cancel that window first.
  2. Press F4 to get to Configuration Manager or Preferences - Workshare Configuration Manager.
  3. Type your Configuration Manager password (if any)
  4. Click Administration from the left panel
  5. From the list of options on the right, look for "Default Save location", once found, highlight or click the option
  6. You'll see a box below to type your "Default Save Location". Type the location and make sure it is the exact path.
  7. Click Apply then Ok to confirm the settings
