Scenario
You have configured Workshare by applying a password to protect access to the Workshare Application Configuration. When creating the password, it was typed incorrectly. When you attempt to enter Workshare Configuration Manager, it prompts to type the password for access. Workshare throws an error
"You have entered an incorrect password. Please contact your administrator."
Solution
There is no way for Workshare to retrieve/reset the password created to protect access to Workshare Configuration Manager by end-users.
The only way to reset the password is to remove all Options.xml and Settings.xml files from the following locations:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Workshare\Workshare
C:\Documents and Settings\Default User\Application Data\Workshare\Workshare
C:\Documents and Settings\<current user>\Application Data\Workshare\Workshare
After removing all the xml files, run the Workshare Configuration Assistant, found by default in the Start menu
