Workshare Compare: Compare Word > PDF

I am using Workshare Professional. When I open the Compare application and try to compare a word document against a PDF (which has been ocr'd), I get an error message stating that it cannot continue due to images requiring conversion in the document. I have already ocr'd the document. Any ideas...
