Alan Fraser - CEO and PresidentAlan has more than 30 years of executive experience, a track record of building large global distribution channels, and leadership capabilities to scale organizations rapidly for success. Before Workshare, Alan held numerous executive posts at Nortel and Astoria Software. Alan is a seasoned executive and serial entrepreneur with experience in executive roles in both public and private high-technology companies. His background includes functional expertise in general management, product development, marketing, distribution, sales, operations and finance. His industry experience ranges from software applications and solutions to semiconductors to telecommunications. Chris Doell - EVP, Group Executive of OperationsWith over 20 years experience in high tech ventures, Chris Doell currently leads worldwide products, services & business development for Workshare. Doell also served as the company's interim-CEO, providing leadership and direction while an extensive CEO search was conducted. He was asked to lead the company after more than four years as its Executive Vice President of Worldwide Services. Prior to Workshare, Doell was Co-Founder and CEO of sportsTALK.com, which was acquired by ESPN within 2 years of operation. He has also developed several multi-national customer support, information technology, and hosted service operations for companies such as Doubleclick, Sybase, Macromedia and Intuit. Charles F. Nielsen | Chief Operating OfficerCharles has over 26 years experience in High Tech and Public Accounting. He has an extensive background in Operations, Supply Chain management, Program planning, Human Resources, Facilities, IT and Finance. Prior to Workshare, Charles was Chief Operating Officer for Ingrian Networks, and has held positions at Nortel Networks, VLSI Technology, Inc., Spectra-Physics Lasers, Inc., Raychem Corporation, Varian Associates and Touche Ross & Co. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting and an MBA from California State University Hayward. Babak Salimi - General Manager, ProductsBabak Salimi has more than 18 years of domain expertise in the Enterprise IT, security and network industry. Babak and his team were pioneers of Endpoint Security, On-Demand Security and Network Access Control markets by launching Sygate Endpoint Protection in the summer of 2000, followed by Sygate On-Demand and Network Access Control security solutions. Babak's efforts in the areas of corporate, product and partner strategy led to Sygate's successful acquisition by Symantec. In 2004 Babak led the creation of an open industry standards group known as Trusted Network Connect (a working group of Trusted Computing Group). Initial group participation of 20 vendors quickly grew to over 60+ industry leading vendors such as Avaya, HP, IBM, Intel, iPass, Juniper, and Symantec. Prior to Sygate Babak held various management and development positions with large multi-national organizations including Nortel Networks (NYSE: NT), Bell Northern Research and IBM (NYSE:IBM). Babak holds a Masters degree in Telecommunications Technology Management and a Bachelors in Engineering with honors from McGill University. Brian Spector | Vice President of Business DevelopmentBrian is a 15-year security veteran with a proven track record of bringing together emerging and existing technologies to meet the fast-paced, dynamic security market. Brian's sales and business development experience spans multiple companies including nCipher, Sana Security, Mobilsys, RSA and McAfee where he has a proven track record for delivering results through strategic business management and effective team building. |
