Scott Smull | Acting President and Chief Executive Officer

Scott brings nearly 30 years of proven financial leadership to Workshare, most notably guiding companies through periods of double-digit growth. Scott's extensive experience includes business development, financial leadership, operations, M & A activity, capital fundraising, as well as extensive experience aligning business, operational and financial strategies. Prior to joining Workshare, Scott served as Chief Financial Officer and COO for PriMetrica Asia, a marketing research and database solutions company located in six Southeast Asian countries.

Additionally, Scott's experience includes several CFO positions in software based companies including Preventsys, a pioneer in IT security and compliance software systems. He was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Nexiant, served as VP Global Business Development and CFO at PurePulse Technologies and as CFO at Linkabit Wireless, ComStream Corp. and ISSCO.

Frank Boening - Vice President, EMEA

Frank is responsible for driving Workshare's sales operations and business development across the Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He brings more than a decade of experience in sales, technology deployment, and regional management. Frank assumed full regional responsibility for EMEA after launching Workshare successfully in continental Europe in 2007.

Prior to joining Workshare, Frank held a number of sales management positions, including Informatica and Remedy Corporation, where he built high performance customer centric sales organisations, consistently achieving top sales honours.

Matthew Brown - Vice President of Marketing

Matthew has been a technology evangelist in the legal industry for more than 14 years and has been influencing Workshare's product development for more than 10 years. Matthew has extensive experience guiding software development for the most demanding document users and has helped Workshare become a market leader through award-winning software products.

Before joining Workshare, Matthew held a number of product development, product management, and product marketing leadership positions within the legal industry for software organizations and large international law firms such as Clifford Chance.

Tim Carmichael - Vice President of Engineering

With over 20 years of experience in the IT industry spanning software development, systems and project management, Tim is responsible for leading the engineering and technical functions for Workshare. In this role he is focused on improving product quality and fostering innovation throughout the development teams.

Prior to joining Workshare, Tim was CTO and founder of DAT Group PLC, a leading systems and software development enterprise. Prior to DAT Group, Tim held several senior roles in leading global organizations including Computacenter, Credit Suisse and Abbey National. Tim holds a number of industry accreditations and is a recognized industry expert speaking at events such as Microsoft TechEd, IT Forum and FutureTech.

Dan Filby - Vice President, Americas & APAC

Dan has more than 20 years of progressive leadership experience with companies including GE Capital, Digital Equipment and Oracle. He has a track record of leading high growth organizations in companies ranging from start-ups to Fortune 100, resulting in two successful company sales and one IPO. Prior to Workshare, Dan was the Chief Operating Officer at Planitax Inc. which was acquired by Thomson Reuters and Chief Operating Officer at Adlex Inc. until the company's acquisition by Compuware.

Dan has built and led highly successful organizations operating with a variety of business models; including Software as a Service (SaaS), On Premise software and Managed Services.

Courtney Jeffers - Senior Director of Human Resources

Courtney is responsible for defining and implementing Workshare's global Human Resource growth strategy. She brings more than 17 years of human resource business partnership experience to Workshare.

Prior to Workshare, Courtney worked at mid-size and start-up high technology companies including Lam Research, PalmSource, Vertical Networks, Quinta Corporation, Cardiogenesis Corporation, and First Virtual Corporation. She has extensive experience consulting with CEOs, CFOs and Vice Presidents in the areas of organizational development, change management, M&A activity, and human resources initiatives that support strategic business results that link human assets to business outcomes.

Anton Papp | Vice President of Business Development

As Vice President of Business Development, Anton is responsible for enhancing Workshare's business partnerships and strategic relationships. Throughout his career Anton has been involved in more than 30 public, private and cross-border transactions and brings more than nine years of investment banking experience in the software and services industries to Workshare.

Prior to Workshare Anton was a Principal at Pagemill Partners where he helped spearhead the firm's mergers and acquisitions (M&A), equity financings, and follow on and initial public offerings. In addition, Anton was a vice president at Montgomery & Co., a senior associate for Robertson Stephens, and worked for Banc of America Securities. Anton holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Boston University and an MBA in finance from Columbia Business School. He served in the U.S. Navy as an F-14 Naval Aviator for more than eight years and is a graduate of the Navy Fighter Weapons School (Top Gun).
