Delivers Hygiene Technology Unveiled at DEMOfall These new releases are the first Workshare products to incorporate Hygiene technology, a simple and powerful cure for document security risks, demonstrated at DEMOfall in September 2005. Both Professional and Protect are now able to alert users to the presence of information that violates privacy, intellectual property and financial disclosure policy, and recommend the blocking of these documents. Workshare Protect 4.5 evolves the industry leading document security solution with pre-built policy settings which automatically identify and warn of risks, including leaking data that can jeopardize customer privacy such as social security and bank account numbers-all without disrupting normal workflows. "To comply with regulation and internal policies, organizations must protect their eroding perimeters from document leaks," said Brian Burke, research manager, Security Products at IDC. "Workshare document Hygiene technology helps manage content risk and outbound compliance through policy enforcement. Pricing and Availability Workshare Professional 4.5 is available in three editions: Workshare Professional 4.5 for Outlook, Workshare Professional 4.5 for Notes and Workshare Professional 4.5 for GroupWise. All are US $349 per seat for a perpetual license with volume discounts. Term licensing is also available. A 10-seat minimum is required. Supported integration options include Microsoft SharePoint, Interwoven, Hummingbird and Documentum.
