WORKSHARE APPOINTS MASTER DISTRIBUTOR FOR HONG KONG AND THE PEOPLE’S REPUBLIC OF CHINA Hong Kong, 27th June 2006 - Workshare today announces that it has appointed Efficient Information Security (EIS) Limited as its master distributor for Hong Kong SAR and The People’s Republic of China. EIS will sell Workshare products and provide support services to customers from 1 July 2006. EIS will be focused 100 per cent on Workshare’s information security and content compliance solutions. With the Chinese economy growing at 9.5 per cent per annum (World Bank, China Quarterly Update, May 2006), Workshare believes that a local approach through its partnership with EIS represents the best strategic opportunity for gaining further market penetration, as well as providing it with the ability to better meet the local needs of its customers. Workshare is fully committed to Hong Kong and China as these markets represent strategic growth areas for its long term success. Workshare’s decision to select EIS, as well as recently releasing Asian language compatible products, underscores its focus within the APAC region as a whole. EIS will continue to build on Workshare’s strong and established customer base within the financial services, government and professional services market segments. Existing customers in the region include well-known organisations such as Baker & Mackenzie, Deacons, and Johnson Stokes and Masters. To support customers, EIS has begun building a dedicated practice of industry professionals around solutions from Workshare, the leader in information security and content compliance. Alongside this dedicated team of sales and support staff at EIS, Workshare will add its own technical resources to maintain response levels and support to customers in the region. Over time, EIS will grow the Workshare practice in line with customer and prospect requirements.
