Workshare Accelerates Expansion into Asia Pacific, Attending China Legal IT Summit for the First Time San Francisco, CA, November 18, 2010 - Workshare, a leading provider of document collaboration software, is experiencing strong ongoing growth and is now accelerating its expansion into Asia Pacific, attending the recent China Legal IT Summit for the first time. The company added over 2,000 new customers this year, with more than 600 new customers coming in the past three months. At the China Legal IT Summit last month, Vice President Dan Filby was asked to chair the event. "Workshare's solutions are essential in a market with as much legal activity as China is seeing now," said Filby. "I was honored to chair the event, and this conference demonstrated that the Asian Pacific region is undergoing tremendous growth and is very important to our business going forward." Workshare is poised for substantial growth as it pursues opportunities in APAC. Given the trajectory of its business in the US and UK, with thousands of new customers, a strong customer renewal rate, and several important product releases this year, customers are validating the productivity savings and security benefits of Workshare's software. Workshare is set to launch two more major product releases this year with a solution for PDF management and a solution to improve the document collaboration capabilities of Microsoft SharePoint. This new solution will provide a Microsoft-enabled front end to SharePoint 2010, allowing professionals to manage documents and email from within Microsoft Office and Outlook while storing documents in SharePoint.
