Workshare Continues Growth With 1,670 New Customers; Expands Leadership Team San Francisco, CA, September 14, 2011 - Workshare, a leading provider of document collaboration software, continues to enjoy strong demand for document collaboration solutions with more than 1,670 new customers in 2011. Workshare is seeing increased adoption of solutions that extend Microsoft technologies and which focus on SharePoint, document collaboration, metadata and PDF. The company continues to grow through 2011 with strong demand for version 7 of Workshare Professional and version 1.2 of Workshare's Microsoft SharePoint and Outlook integration solution. By focusing on product quality, simplified installation processes, and tools to easily deploy the software across the enterprise, Workshare's solutions are increasingly in demand. Workshare Professional 7 and the latest version of Workshare Point which supports Microsoft Office 365 and SharePoint Foundation 2010 will be demonstrated at the upcoming 2011 Microsoft SharePoint Conference in Anaheim, CA and the European SharePoint conference in Berlin. Also announced today, Steve Yount, a technology sales veteran, has joined the company as Vice President of Global Sales. With more than 20 years of experience building teams worldwide, Yount will be responsible for driving global sales of Workshare products and ensuring successful customer relationships. Prior to his new Workshare position, Yount served as vice president of sales for both public and private software and technology companies ranging from small start-ups to large companies such as IBM and CA. While working at a $150 million ERP software company, Yount grew North American revenues from $35 million to $100 million until it was acquired. Yount's executive experience also includes a successful IPO, several M&A projects and venture fundraising.
