Workshare offers Microsoft Office 365 integration

Our recent survey showed that 81% of employees access content on the move, driving the need for simple applications that can be used across desktop and mobile devices. Last week, Workshare announced a major integration with Microsoft Office 365, giving users a new set of functionality for collaboration that significantly increases productivity, from anywhere.

Professional 9 is a suite of applications, which by integrating with Office 365 allows users and IT to keep up with the growing demand for cloud-based collaboration applications in semi and regulated industries such as legal, financial, and pharmaceutical.

By providing Office 365 users with collaboration features, the integration enables people to be more mobile and productive, while allowing them to work with the way they want to and the way they’ve become accustomed. A major benefit of this is faster turnaround times on documents, with users able to access, compare, and collaborate securely from any device.

Transition to the cloud
A high percentage of Microsoft’s Enterprise customers are already using Microsoft Office 365 and require secure collaboration capabilities, which is where Workshare adds value. In addition, Workshare provides secure comparison and metadata removal and will be hugely beneficial in helping these companies transition to the cloud as efficiently and effectively as possible.

Chris White, CIO at Clyde & Co commented on the news this week saying that, “As a global law firm, maintaining the productivity of our fee earners while they’re mobile is a key challenge. It’s reassuring that Workshare is supporting Microsoft’s new direction, as the integrated solutions offer a clear path to maintaining productivity as users demand more flexible ways of working.”
