ILTA Conference: Workshare Professional 9 is coming!

Workshare kicked off the ILTA Conference in Nashville yesterday with one of the biggest announcements of the show; Professional 9 is coming! With 98% of AmLaw 200 and 98% of UK Law 50 relying on Workshare for comparison, file sharing, and collaboration, the reaction and excitement from legal professionals and IT groups on the show floor was astounding.

The news is a big deal for modern legal professionals who need to be more productive and mobile than ever before. The need to reduce review cycles and collaborate on high-value documents from anywhere, is no longer an aspiration but expectation from clients and third parties, which must be met by firms and corporate counsels; while at the same time ensuring that all client information and corporate content remains secure.

Putting productivity and data security first
Professional 9 is an intuitive application that meets this need, letting users benefit from dramatically faster review cycles, increased accuracy, and simple collaboration from anywhere, and any device. With Workshare’s metadata removal tool, all sensitive information is automatically identified and stripped before a document is shared – meeting the need for complete data protection and control.

The application comes with Workshare Connect, creating a secure online workspace for synchronizing content, sharing files, and collaboration. For legal teams needing to be productive on the move, Professional 9 integrates with existing workflows and processes so that they can continue working the way they want to, from anywhere.

We’ve also introduced new interactive features, which enable users to review and accurately compare and identify changes to a document, from their desktop, webmail or mobile device. For the first time, legal professionals will be able to apply the changes they want directly from within the DeltaView by using a new “Accept or Reject” feature. It’s that simple.
