AUGUST 20, ILTA CONFERENCE NASHVILLE – Workshare announced today that its new application, Workshare Professional 9, will fully integrate with the latest major release of OpenText eDOCS and Content Server. The integration will benefit OpenText customers by enabling them to increase the return on investment of their existing Enterprise Content Management (ECM) system, with full document comparison and data protection functionality.
The integration for eDocs DM 10 and Content Server 10.5 increases the productivity and accuracy of multi-party reviews, with users able to clearly see what’s changed and accept or reject changes from the DeltaView. In addition, Workshare Professional 9 significantly reduces the risk of inadvertently exposing hidden sensitive data during review processes, with metadata stripping capabilities.
Lubor Ptacek, vice president of product marketing of OpenText commented “This latest integration cements our longstanding relationship with Workshare, as we bring to market integrations that enable users to seamlessly and securely collaborate on content, from any of our ECM systems.”
62% of Fortune 1000 companies trust Workshare to securely collaborate on high-value content across geographically dispersed and increasingly mobile teams. Workshare‘s products meet the specific requirements of semi and highly regulated industries that include legal and professional services, finance and banking, and healthcare and pharmaceutical.
Anthony Foy, CEO of Workshare commented, "We have a long history of supporting OpenText deployments within the legal sector. This integration builds on this pedigree and ensures that OpenText customers can benefit from our metadata cleaning and comparison capabilities.”
