Michael Garrett - Chief Executive Officer

Michael Garrett joined Workshare as CEO in October 2018 having previously led Global Services for Micro Focus following its merger with Hewlett Packard Enterprise’s software division, creating at the time the 7th largest public software company in the world.

He brings over 25 years of software and technology industry experience having led organizations through significant periods of change to deliver strong customer success, growth, innovation and profitability.

Michael spent 15 years with Hewlett Packard, latterly as Global Vice President of Services, a $450m business delivering software integration and solutions to more than 10,000 customers globally. He also held a number of General Manager and Sales Leadership roles both in EMEA and the UK. Prior to Hewlett Packard he held sales, pre-sales and technical positions at Oracle Corporation, InterX Limited, and Siemens Nixdorf.

Barrie Hadfield - Chief Technical Officer

Barrie was one of the original founders of Workshare and remains the firm’s CTO. During his tenure, Workshare has gained more than 14,000 enterprise customers in 70 countries. He brings more than 20 years of experience to the business conceiving, producing, and innovating in software.

Prior to Workshare, Barrie founded SQL Development Ltd, growing it organically and employing 20 people who produced SQL data synchronization software for more than 300 enterprise customers in the United Kingdom and North America. He started his entrepreneurial career by founding Information Management Services Ltd in 1990 as a software developer, building data matching systems for The Council of Europe, BZW, and several London law firms.

Keith Bell - Chief Revenue Officer

Keith has been an integral part of Workshare since 2015 and is currently Chief Revenue Officer at Workshare. He has been responsible for the double-digit growth of Workshare’s software solutions through the development of a high-performance sales team.   Key to this is a customer first approach, ensuring customers have an excellent experience with Workshare continuing to derive value from the software adding value to their day to day operations and long-term goals.

Prior to Workshare Keith held the position as Managing Director of Rocela, a Private Equity backed Oracle Consultancy successfully concluding a strategy in a trade sale to Version One.  He has extensive experience in Global Enterprise SaaS software both from the sales side and implementation experience from his time in PWC as a management consultant.

Serena OKeeffe - Finance Director

Serena joined Workshare in 2014 and assumed the role of Finance Director in January 2019. Prior to her move into this role, Serena created the Financial Planning and Analysis function alongside managing Sales Operations and Renewals. During her tenure, the company has seen double-digit sales growth along with increased profitability.

She brings over 15 years of experience in Finance, having previously held senior finance roles in the Bank of Ireland in Business Banking and Leverage Acquisition Finance, focusing on the European private equity market, then moving into industry. Serena is also Vice-Chair of the London branch of Chartered Accountants Ireland, working with other accountancy bodies and the London-based Irish business community.
