Michael Garrett - Chief Executive Officer
Michael Garrett joined Workshare as CEO in October 2018 having previously led Global Services for Micro Focus following its merger with Hewlett Packard Enterprise’s software division, creating at the time the 7th largest public software company in the world.
He brings over 25 years of software and technology industry experience having led organizations through significant periods of change to deliver strong customer success, growth, innovation and profitability.
Michael spent 15 years with Hewlett Packard, latterly as Global Vice President of Services, a $450m business delivering software integration and solutions to more than 10,000 customers globally. He also held a number of General Manager and Sales Leadership roles both in EMEA and the UK. Prior to Hewlett Packard he held sales, pre-sales and technical positions at Oracle Corporation, InterX Limited, and Siemens Nixdorf.
Barrie Hadfield - Chief Technical Officer
Barrie was one of the original founders of Workshare and remains the firm’s CTO. During his tenure, Workshare has gained more than 14,000 enterprise customers in 70 countries. He brings more than 20 years of experience to the business conceiving, producing, and innovating in software.
Prior to Workshare, Barrie founded SQL Development Ltd, growing it organically and employing 20 people who produced SQL data synchronization software for more than 300 enterprise customers in the United Kingdom and North America. He started his entrepreneurial career by founding Information Management Services Ltd in 1990 as a software developer, building data matching systems for The Council of Europe, BZW, and several London law firms.
Peter White- Chief Financial Officer
Peter joined as CFO of Workshare in August 2015 having previously held the CFO role at Lumata, a business to business mobile marketing technology and services group owned by the private equity firm Francisco Partners.
Prior to joining Lumata Peter was CFO of České Radiokomunikace a.s., the leading provider of broadcasting, tower infrastructure and telecommunications services in the Czech Republic. Having been acquired in 2006 by a consortium of private equity frims (Mid Europa Partners, Lehman Brothers and Al Bateen) the business was successfully sold to The Macquarie Group in 2011 for €574m.
Earlier in his career he was Deputy Finance Director and Corporate Finance Director of the UK mobile media network operator 3 (part of the Hutchison Whampoa Group of companies) having joined the company as a start up and grown its revenues to over £1.5bn with 4 million customers.
He began his career as Assistant Group Financial Controller of Kvaerner Plc an international engineering and construction company having qualified as a Chartered Accountant with PwC working in the Audit, Corporate Tax and Corporate Finance departments.
Eleanor O'Neill - Chief Customer Experience Officer
Prior to joining Workshare, Eleanor held the position of CTO at Gordon Games, a Dublin based start-up, building its first product and delivering it to market, including to a leading global digital communications company. She has extensive experience working in Enterprise SaaS companies globally, delivering complex projects to both large multinationals as well as SMEs. Throughout her career, Eleanor has expertly led the way in bringing various products to market, both in the US and UK.
Eleanor's career began in academia as a Research Fellow in Trinity College Dublin, receiving her PhD as part of the Knowledge and Data Engineering Group and collecting multiple awards for her work. She has worked with leading universities across the world, including Stanford and Queens University. Her strong research and commercialisation experience has led her to be pivotal in the formation and successful management and execution of projects at European and International levels.
Lesley Dunn- Chief Commercial Officer
Lesley is a veteran of the IT Industry and has fulfilled roles in Sales, Sales Management and Sales & Marketing leadership in Technology, Software and Consulting Services.
Her career has spanned blue-chip organizations, including Hewlett-Packard, Pricewaterhouse Coopers, Ernst & Young and Ariba as well as start-up and SME software providers.
Lesley has been responsible for UK and European markets as well as holding global roles. In her last position at Hewlett-Packard, she was responsible for a $60m software services business in the UK.
Lesley joined Workshare in May 2018 as Chief Commercial Officer responsible for Sales and Marketing.
Lesley also serves on the Trustee Board of the Kite Academy.
